Two unique methods for captivating performances.

No Mean Card Trick

Effect: A spectator counts out ten cards from a shuffled deck and selects one, burying it back into the pack themselves. The performer then cuts the deck and lays out a 5×4 face-up grid. The spectator thinks “yes” if their card is present in the array, which the performer confirms. Next, the spectator focuses on the row containing their card, allowing the performer to eliminate the other three rows accurately. Finally, the spectator imagines the performer pushing their card towards them, and after a moment, the selected card is indeed pushed forward!

Sympatico Spell

This routine features a unique approach: the performer showcases a method for selecting and burying a card within the deck. The chosen card is displayed to the audience and lost in the pack. The spectator then cuts the deck in half and buries their card. The performer retrieves the deck and searches for their own selection, which everyone is aware of, and cuts it to the top. The card is turned face up, and its name is spelled out, revealing the spectator’s card at the conclusion of the spell!

No sleight of hand is needed, but some mental arithmetic is involved.
