THE EFFECT

Five participants each receive a business card. The mentalist turns away while they arrange colorful paperclips around the edges of their cards. Each person writes a personal word on the back of their card, which are then shuffled together.

Upon turning back, the mentalist allows one card to be freely selected and places it into an envelope for isolation.

Next, the mentalist examines the remaining cards and provides a character reading based on the arrangement of the paperclips and the written words. One by one, the cards are returned to their owners, who confirm that the mentalist has accurately identified them and described their personalities.

As a stunning conclusion, the mentalist reveals the hidden word from the card inside the envelope.
