Occasionally, a magic trick leaves such a profound impression that it lingers in your mind. “Reshuffled” is one of those remarkable effects. We first witnessed it at Juan Tamariz’s home, where Pedro Morillo performed this captivating routine. Its brilliance was unforgettable, prompting us to bring it to the magic community.

This effect is inspired by Paul Gertner’s classic “Unshuffled,” which itself draws from a Michael S. Ewer trick. However, “Reshuffled” elevates the experience with a breathtaking new conclusion. You present a deck featuring unique markings along the edges. A spectator freely selects a card, and through a series of shuffles, the markings align to spell “Unshuffled,” creating the illusion of unshuffling the deck. To everyone’s astonishment, the entire deck is revealed to be in perfect order. But the magic doesn’t stop there! The markings on the selected card then rearrange to spell the chosen card’s name. In this version, a final spread shows that every card in the deck has transformed into the selected card.

We adore this routine because it eliminates the need to carry a dedicated deck for “Unshuffled.” Instead, we’ve integrated special features that allow for a free selection while culminating in a stunning all-in-one finale.

The faro shuffle is typically required for “Reshuffled,” and we teach it in our performance. However, a completely self-working, non-faro method by Maestro Juan Tamariz is also included.
