The performance begins with a blue-backed deck of cards, thoroughly shuffled. The magician squares the cards, performs a magical gesture, and reveals that all cards are the same — for instance, all Queens of Diamonds!

To ensure everyone is following, another magical gesture transforms all the Queens into Three of Spades. The magician claims this could only happen if he secretly switched the deck, and indeed he did! He flips the deck over to reveal that all cards are from a GREEN Bicycle deck!

Next, he takes one of the Three of Spades and magically changes it to a RED Bicycle card. But wait… now every card has transformed to red. The magician displays all the red backs, only to reveal that they have reverted to ordinary (indifferent) cards.

In a final twist, he takes the blue box but notices the cards remain red. For the grand finale, he changes the entire deck back to regular BLUE-backed cards.
