Your head remains turned at all times while the paper is visible, and the only moment you hold the paper is in a closed fist. Spectators can scrutinize you during the peek without noticing a thing. You can even perform this surrounded by an audience. For those with poor vision, there are techniques to execute the peek with the information just an inch away from your face.
