Imagine using an everyday object as a powerful switching device. This concept has been refined to perfection.

In this routine, a spectator selects any card from a thoroughly shuffled deck. Without revealing the card’s face, it is folded into quarters and secured in a bulldog clip, leaving it partially visible. The clip is set aside.

Next, a second card is freely chosen and can even be signed by the spectator. You can then perform your favorite signed card routine, such as the ambitious card effect.

At the climax of your performance, the signed card mysteriously vanishes. You then point to the clipped card, remove it from the clip, unfold it, and reveal that it is indeed the signed selection!
