Welcome to the Tarbell Course in Magic with Dan Harlan
I’m Dan Harlan, and for the past year and a half, I’ve been revitalizing the entire Tarbell course in magic. My goal is to bring each lesson to life through engaging video instruction where I perform and teach every trick.
In this course, I analyze each trick, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses, while sharing my insights to help you cultivate your own unique style. To give you a glimpse of what to expect, I’ve selected some of my favorite routines from the lessons.
First up, I present a fresh take on a classic idea from Lesson 23, demonstrating a new method for making coins disappear from a sealed jar and reappear in a glass. You’ll also discover an astonishing impromptu trick from Lesson 24, where a borrowed dollar bill becomes trapped in a borrowed cigarette.
Next, I apply card manipulation techniques from Lesson 25 to reveal a handful of dollars in an unexpected location. I also explore the beloved “Egg Bag” routine, offering a modern twist that deviates from tradition for a fun and innovative approach.
In Lesson 29, I transform a simple transposition of two differently colored balls into two distinct performances: one featuring a surprising exchange of borrowed items and the other a comedic piece that guarantees laughs.
Finally, I take on the iconic Twentieth Century Silks from Lesson 30, one of the most recognized handkerchief tricks. Can we breathe new life into it? You’ll find out as I add my unique flair to this classic, aiming to unravel a modern mystery that will astonish you.
Join me for this incredible journey through Every Trick in The Book, where you’ll discover a wealth of magic waiting to be explored!
