Discover Eight Professional Card Routines!
Highlights Include:
1. The Disappearing Kings: A chosen card is lost in the deck. The magician reveals two face-up black Kings, which vanish with a simple slap. When the deck is spread, the Kings are found separated by 20 cards. After a magical gesture, they reunite with the chosen card positioned between them — all performed without culls or passes, thanks to Fenik’s innovative technique.
2. Second Skin Invisible Palm: This fresh take on Larry Jennings’ “Invisible Palm Aces” features a stunning conclusion without any extra cards. Fenik showcased this effect at The Magic Castle during the Jennings’ Palooza special, produced by master magician Billy Goodwin.
3. Blast: Four Kings are hidden in different sections of the deck. The deck is split into face-up and face-down halves, shuffled together, and then the Kings are revealed in a spectacular “Blast.” The deck is then spread to show all cards facing the same direction — a true triumph!
4. 88 Beast Assembly: Four Kings are placed on the table, each covered by three indifferent cards. The Kings vanish cleanly, only to reappear with the leader King. With a snap, the Kings transform into Aces, while the original Kings return to their spots. This routine, first performed by Fenik for Larry Jennings in 1989, embodies pure magic that can be executed anywhere.
5. The Rev: A visually captivating effect where four Jacks turn face down one by one, culminating in their transformation into Aces. The clever method is so enjoyable that you’ll find yourself practicing in front of a mirror repeatedly!
6. Holy Water… and Oil: An impressively clean effect where three red cards are mixed with three black ones. The magician waves his hand, and the black cards are magically separated from the red ones — three times in succession, building to a stunning climax.
7. The Illusionist: Three spectators select cards, which are lost in the deck. With a snap, the Queen of Hearts appears on top, only to be cut in half, revealing the three chosen cards immediately after — a brilliant display of skill!
8. Sky Travellers: Four signed Aces visibly disappear, each traveling to a different pocket on the magician’s person. The seemingly impossible feat is accomplished as each Ace is retrieved from its respective pocket. Perfect for close-up, parlor, or stage performances, this method is sure to impress.
