When inspiration struck, I couldn’t wait to implement this routine in my show the very next day. The outcome was nothing short of spectacular. The Human Equation has quickly become a favorite of mine. As many know, I perform globally and spend considerable time traveling. Therefore, effects that “pack flat and play big” are essential. This routine requires only a marker and a large pad of paper—props I already carry for my regular shows. With minimal effort and a bit of specialized knowledge, I can deliver a captivating 10-minute performance for an audience of 20 or even on stage for 1,000.

The routine begins by actively engaging everyone in the room, providing them with a “mental gift” they’ll remember long after the show. Nine participants are selected to join me on stage, along with the pad and marker.
