Here’s a demonstration: Hand your deck to a spectator, allowing them to examine and shuffle it while you turn away. They freely select and memorize a card before placing it in the card case and closing it. At this point, only the spectator knows the card’s identity.

When you turn back, you boast about having an elephant’s memory. You retrieve the remaining 51 cards, glance through them, and after a moment, confidently declare that the missing card is the queen of spades. When the spectator opens the case to reveal their hidden card, it’s indeed the queen of spades!
