No specific edition of a dictionary is necessary, and the four-page restickable word lists can easily fit inside any dictionary, even one borrowed from an audience member.

In this effect, two spectators independently select a word from the lists, look up its definition, and focus on it. You then take a notepad, silently write down two words, tear off the paper, and place it face down on the table without touching it again. Once the spectators disclose their chosen words, one of them picks up the paper to find the same two words written in bold.

This effect can also be performed with a single participant who thinks of two words, which you reveal without asking any questions.

There are no forcing techniques, restrictions, dual realities, or pre-show setups involved. Spectators have complete freedom in choosing from hundreds of words, and there are absolutely no verbal cues; your eyes do all the work. The participants do not write anything down, nor do they provide you with any information!

All you need is the dictionary with the word lists attached to the inside covers and a notepad to jot down the thought-of words. Remarkably, you can reveal the chosen words even if the borrowed dictionary lacks the specific entries. Yes, you can still accurately disclose the words regardless of whether they appear in the dictionary!
