The mentalist then takes a card which shows a “medallion” showing all the signs of the zodiac and asks the spectator to focus on the sign he is thinking, but not to stare at it. After a bit of hesitation the mentalist invites the viewer to focus on the letters and on the symbol of the zodiac sign, as if they were drawn on an imaginary blackboard.
