Experience the Astonishing “Card at Any Number” Effect with Azlan

Azlan presents a truly hands-off “Card at Any Number” effect using a standard deck that can even be borrowed. The performer hands the spectator a deck of cards, allowing them to shuffle it thoroughly. The spectator then checks the faces of the cards, ensuring each one is unique and removing any Jokers, before placing the deck face down on the table. From this moment, the performer does not touch the deck.

With everything set up fairly, the performer invites the spectator to explore the difference between intuition and mere guessing. The spectator makes a guess about which card is at a random position in the deck. They then intuitively determine the number (position) of a card that remains unknown to them. The moment of truth arrives when they deal to the guessed number, revealing that their card does not match, demonstrating that guessing often leads to mistakes.

Next, the spectator carefully picks up the cards, maintaining their order, and deals to the number they intuitively called out. To their amazement, the card revealed matches the performer’s prediction perfectly! This prediction can be written down beforehand or can be a duplicate card with a different colored back, sealed in an envelope handed to the spectator before the effect begins. It’s a clean and seemingly impossible outcome.

There are absolutely NO gimmicks, NO stacks, and NO complicated sleight of hand involved. No language re-frames or dual reality techniques are used, and there are no short cards or deck cutting required! This effect is easy to learn and perform, making it accessible for all levels of magicians.
