Daniel Madison – Counting Crows

Counting Crows is Daniel Madison’s innovative take on the classic card at any number (CAAN) routine. This plot often leaves magicians feeling frustrated, as it can seem more like a trick than true magic. The typical presentation of revealing a selected card at a designated number lacks the enchanting allure that many seek.

However, Madison transforms this perception. His version culminates in a stunning revelation: instead of merely producing a specific card at the chosen number, you reveal a card of the same value at that position and then magically generate a four-of-a-kind from your hands.

This effect was originally a special giveaway for attendees at the Magic Live convention in Las Vegas this past August. Yet, we believe that what happens in Vegas should definitely be shared with Black Club members.
