Flying Kiss by Devin Knight
This classic effect, originally introduced by Devin Knight in 1972, is now back on the market after being a highlight of his recent lecture tour. In this captivating routine, a spectator freely selects a card from a deck—no forcing involved. She can even sign her card if desired, after which it is returned to the deck and lost among the others.
You then enchant her with the promise of magical powers, claiming she will locate her card through magic. This piques her curiosity. The spectator is asked to blow a kiss toward the deck. As the cards are spread, a kiss appears on the back of one card. When revealed, it turns out to be her chosen card! You then touch the back of her card to your cheek or lips, demonstrating that the kiss has mysteriously vanished. To conclude, you say, “Thanks for the kiss. Now I will give you a kiss. Please hold out your hand.” With a snap of the card, a candy kiss drops into her palm, providing a sweet and memorable finish. This effect is perfect for breaking the ice with women and has proven to be a commercial success, especially in restaurant settings for over seven years. It’s simple to perform and includes detailed instructions, a special Bicycle card, and all the nuances you expect from Devin Knight.

“Devin Knight’s ‘Flying Kiss’ routine is straightforward and leaves a lasting impact on the audience. The candy kiss at the end is a delightful touch. I saw this performed during Devin’s lecture in Cleveland. He provides the necessary gimmick and an excellent routine; all you need is your showmanship.” – Tom Craven
