In this captivating routine, cards are arranged in a circle on the magician’s palm. As the hand is turned over, the cards adhere to the palm as if magnetized. At the magician’s command, all the cards can drop effortlessly onto the table.

Gary Plants’ two remarkable card tricks, “The Impossible Close-up Rising Card” and “The Magnetized Cards,” have been a hit in performances at the Houdini Lounge in the Monte Carlo Resort. The audience’s enthusiastic reactions have been overwhelming. During a visit to the Magic Castle in late October, I learned that tales of my performances with these tricks had spread, leading to numerous requests for me to showcase them. These are undoubtedly the standout card tricks of 2000, unmatched by any others.
