Why was Beast created?

Recently, Danny was inspired by a collection of coin magic from his friend Hoang Doan, featuring an intriguing new technique. After viewing it, Danny eagerly proposed collaboration to develop and launch the project.

This collaboration has produced a unique assortment of routines and concepts that promise to introduce ideas you’ve never encountered before.

What’s included in the project?

1. Cannon Coins

Experience the magic as three coins travel one by one into a glass. The first coin appears out of thin air, the second travels invisibly after your hand is shown empty, and the third dramatically ‘pops’ into view even when the glass is inverted!

Hoang also addresses common issues with typical ‘coins to glass’ routines, showcasing how this final phase effectively resolves those challenges.

2. Danny’s Coins to Glass

In this routine, three coins journey one at a time into a glass. Danny, inspired by Hoang’s innovative thinking, shares his first official work on this classic effect, revealing numerous ideas that emerged during the process.

A simplified version is also provided for those who may struggle with certain moves in the primary method.

3. Coins Through Glass

Watch as three coins seemingly melt through solid glass, with the final coin audibly tapping against the glass before disappearing! Hoang discusses the ideal type of glass to use, which can significantly enhance the effect, and shares a simple sound manipulation technique that is surprisingly easy to master.

4. Danny’s Coins Through Glass

Experience the wonder as three coins visually penetrate solid glass, with the second coin clearly seen melting through the bottom. Danny teaches various handling techniques, allowing you to showcase the last coin before it appears on the opposite side of the glass!

5. Metal Bending

Hoang demonstrates a captivating routine where three coins appear and vanish with the aid of a drop of water, culminating in a surprising kicker ending. (This routine utilizes gaffs, which you may already possess.)

In this routine, Hoang employs a drop of water to create the illusion of three coins appearing and disappearing, featuring an unexpected twist that will leave your audience amazed.
