A powerful new effect that engages the entire audience… The performer displays a card with a word on it, and the audience focuses on it while a volunteer reads their minds! “In 1952, in the jungles of Koshima, Japan, scientists made one of the strangest discoveries…” The performer shows a large card visible to everyone except a volunteer, who has their eyes closed. The card might say Canada. As the audience concentrates, the volunteer is prompted to think of a country… Their choice matches the card revealed to the audience! This effect can be repeated with multiple volunteers and various choices, from rock bands to six-digit numbers… You might wonder how a volunteer can know what everyone else is thinking! If you think it involves a switch or flap, you’re mistaken — everyone sees the same card simultaneously! When I first demonstrated this to a group of mentalists, many approached me afterward, convinced I was using stooges. I wasn’t.
