Raphael Czaja – Knocked For Six

Knocked for Six is a collection of six powerful yet simple card tricks:

In Case Hof Emergency: You start with the four Jacks, your ’emergency cards,’ laid out. A spectator selects a card, say the 2H, which is then lost in the deck. You reveal the QS, but the spectator insists it’s not theirs. A wave over the deck reveals the JH, and the other three cards transform into the 2S, 2D, and 2C! Finally, you unveil the JS, JD, and JC in the deck, with the 2H hidden between the JS and JD.

Biddle Juice: Two cards are chosen by Topper and Ramada and lost in the deck. You place a packet of five cards, including one of the selections, in Topper’s hands while Ramada holds an indifferent card. After a magical gesture, Topper’s card vanishes, only to find Ramada’s card reversed in the deck, while Topper’s selection is now in Ramada’s hands!

Triple Success: You remove two Jokers and three indifferent cards, ensuring the spectator can’t choose them. You write three predictions on business cards. The spectator cuts to three cards, placing one between the Jokers, another among the indifferent cards, and the last one reversed in the deck. All predictions match perfectly!

Duplications: The magician shows a deck cut in half. Two spectators shuffle and select one half card from each half. When revealed, one half shows an 8S and the other a KD. It seems like a failure until you turn the box around to reveal a prediction card showing the same halves!

The Power of Love: Two signed selections are placed face to face between two odd-backed 10H cards, symbolizing their love. Held together by a rubber band, you explain that even in love, arguments can arise. After a magical gesture, the signed cards turn back to back! You then ask the spectators to remove the rubber band, revealing that the two cards have fused into one!

Colorful Journey: The four aces are taken from a red-backed deck. The AS is placed on top of the red deck while the other three aces are lost in a blue deck. With a magical gesture, the aces vanish from the blue deck and reappear on top of the red deck beneath the AS.

“The methods are very clean and uncluttered, with excellent construction throughout.” – Peter Duffie

“There is some strong material in this ebook. For ten bucks, you get a lot of quality, usable material.” – Scott F. Guinn
