Effect: The magician presents five sets of keys and padlocks. Each key and padlock can be examined, revealing that only the correct key can unlock its corresponding padlock. The magician then places money into a crystal box and invites a spectator to participate in a game. If the spectator wins, they keep the money.

The game is straightforward: five keys and five padlocks are mixed up, making it impossible to tell which key fits which padlock. The spectator makes all the choices, selecting one key and one padlock for the magician. The chosen padlock secures the crystal box. Unfortunately for the spectator, the padlock on the box opens with the selected key, meaning the magician wins the game.
