Introducing ‘The Article’ — the ingenious method that allowed me to deceive the Police and a room full of journalists! This custom-designed A5 clipboard empowers you to predict headlines and outcomes from anywhere in the world.

Originally crafted for publicity stunts, The Article is also perfect for parlour and stage performances. You begin by handing a sealed padded envelope to a volunteer for safekeeping until your act. When the moment arrives, the envelope is verified to ensure no one has tampered with it. You then cut open the envelope to reveal the clipboard inside. The participant reaches in, retrieves the clipboard, and the envelope is shown to be completely empty.

Next, the participant flips the clipboard around to reveal a piece of paper securely clipped in place, with an envelope attached. They open the envelope to find a prediction that matches perfectly with your chosen outcome.

The Article is versatile, suitable for publicity stunts, headline predictions, confabulation, and dramatic conclusions to your performances. You can even pre-write additional information on the attached paper for use during your show!
