Turnover Bend by Dee Christopher

PDF Download

Background: This technique has been a staple in Dee’s Quicksilver routine for years. It’s straightforward, quick, and feels natural.

Effect: A borrowed spoon is held delicately at the magician’s fingertips, showcased from every angle before it seemingly droops and bends at the neck.

Method: With no prior preparation required, this can be executed spontaneously with any borrowed spoon. The movements appear fluid, and while timing may require practice, the overall method is quite accessible.

The Non-Bending Spoon Bend: If you’ve attempted spoon or fork bending, you may have encountered a spoon that’s too thick to bend. Dee introduces a visually appealing bend that works better with forks but still delivers the desired effect. This method is inspired by a technique from Erick’s Gallerian DVD. Although it can’t be handed out immediately, Dee provides a clever way to return the spoon to its original state. I look forward to experimenting with this in front of a mirror.

Extras: The PDF includes numerous images that clearly illustrate the Turnover Bend process. Dee acknowledges the origins of the techniques and shares his insights on the moves, making this a valuable resource. Overall, I found it to be an excellent PDF, and I’m eager to put these techniques into practice.
