Here’s how the performance unfolds:

You begin by explaining to your spectator that you will conduct an experiment to synchronize your minds. You assure them that you will provide proof of this connection.

Instruct your spectator to close their eyes while you stand before them. They will mentally choose one of their hands without revealing or writing it down. Once they confirm their selection, you count to three, prompting them to raise their chosen hand and open their eyes. To their astonishment, you mirror their action, lifting the same hand as if you had anticipated their choice—because, indeed, you did!

This experiment is repeated a second time, following the same procedure.

For the third round, there’s a twist: your spectator closes their eyes again and selects a hand. Upon confirming their choice, they open their eyes to find both hands resting at their sides. You then announce that on the count of three, both of you will raise a hand simultaneously. When the count concludes, you both lift a hand, achieving a perfect mirrored position—three times in a row!
