Royal De Math by Lars La Ville
Experience a captivating collection of mind-bending spelling effects using cards and various items.
1: Royal De Math – Shuffle the cards and present five distinct items: a card case, a telephone, a Rubik’s Cube, a Sharpie, and rubber bands. The spectator randomly selects all five items, and for each letter in the item’s name, you deal cards onto the table, creating five piles. Afterward, you gather the cards and spell each item again, placing a card aside for the last letter of each. Surprisingly, you reveal a Royal Flush.
2: Royal De Math 2 (Variation) – This variation follows the same principle as the original but utilizes only four items, culminating in a four of a kind.
4: 4 Of A Kindo 2 (Variation) – Begin with a shuffled deck and display four items: a wallet, coins, a Sharpie, and a telephone. A spectator selects a card, which is then lost in the deck. The spectator randomly chooses the four items, and for each letter, you deal cards to form four piles. After collecting the cards and spelling the items again, you set aside a card for the last letter. Ultimately, none of the revealed cards match the selection. However, by adding the four cards together, the spectator counts to that number in the deck, revealing their chosen card.
6: Four – Four spectators each select a card, which are then lost in the deck. Present four items: a wallet, coins, a Sharpie, and a telephone. The spectators randomly choose the items, and for each letter, you deal cards to create four piles. After collecting the cards and spelling the items again, you set aside a card for the last letter. When revealed, these four cards correspond to the selections made by the spectators.
7: Four Again (Variation) – This easy-to-perform effect utilizes a borrowed deck.
