“This PDF is a refreshing take on a classic mentalism technique, packed with valuable insights to enhance your performances. I absolutely LOVE the routine ‘Saving Grace’; it’s a must-have for my close-up repertoire.”

Consistently excellent content, and it’s also quite entertaining!
From the introduction:
Many of us recall learning about the ‘one ahead’ principle from childhood magic books, often viewing it as outdated or overly simplistic. Unfortunately, we’ve also witnessed poorly executed one-ahead routines that make the method painfully obvious.
Yet, each time I encountered a one-ahead performance, I felt a nagging belief that this classic technique could be refined to captivate contemporary audiences.
This project presents three innovative routines that address common pitfalls associated with one-ahead performances, including:
- Why are specific pieces of information revealed?
- How can we obscure the notion of using one ahead from the audience’s perception?
‘Saving Grace’ is my go-to routine. With just three business cards and a pen, I can perform it spontaneously, leaving a memorable impact on my audience.
‘Ahead Of the Spectrum’ evolved over several months as I sought to establish a logical reason for the information revealed after each phase.
‘See Sense’ introduces the Blind One Ahead concept, a technique that further disguises the one-ahead method.
‘Coinucopia’ allows you to force a coin and predict which hand a spectator is holding it in.
As always, my goal is not for you to replicate my routines verbatim but to inspire your own creative ideas. I hope you find them enjoyable.
