Back to the Future by Josh Zandman
The participant holds a blank piece of paper between her hands while thinking of a word. You engage her in a conversation about time travel, revealing your discovery of mental time travel.
You guide her to mentally journey one year into the past, where she must find you and reveal the word she has in mind. She instructs you to write this word on a small piece of paper. When you reunite one year later, you will present her with this paper as part of your time travel experiment.
Back in the present, you express your need to know the word she shared with you a year ago. To her amazement, you accurately reveal the word! She then unveils the previously blank piece of paper, now inscribed with the word she thought of a year prior. She has successfully changed the present by traveling back in time in her mind!
