Experience the Astonishing Card Revelation

Picture this: a spectator shuffles a deck of cards and selects four at random. After choosing one, the magician’s assistant discreetly hands the remaining three cards to the medium, who, with her back turned, accurately identifies the selected card. This remarkable feat can be repeated with a second spectator, where the medium deduces the chosen card simply by hearing the names of the three discarded cards.

This innovative method, crafted by me, empowers the magician’s assistant to encode any card selected from four random choices, using only the three remaining cards. This ensures the magician can consistently reveal the spectator’s chosen card.

At the outset, the assistant presents the three “discarded” cards to the medium, who is positioned with her back to the audience. Without any verbal cues, she can intuitively determine the chosen card after a brief moment of contemplation, with the cards held vertically and aligned in the same direction.

In the subsequent round, the assistant simply announces the three discarded cards aloud, and once again, the medium successfully reveals the spectator’s card shortly thereafter.
