A spectator selects and signs a card, which is then returned to the deck and shuffled. The magician introduces a blank-faced card, inserting it halfway into the deck. With the blank card sticking out, the deck is placed face down into its case, leaving the flap open. The magician reveals the protruding blank card while holding the case with its back facing the audience. After a subtle push on the blank card, the magician flips the deck face up, revealing that the blank card has transformed into the signed selection! The magician hands the card to the spectator for a complete examination.
