Cobra Light by Cobra Magic

This innovative Cobra Light reimagines the classic switch box in a compact and portable design that fits right in your pocket. With a unique feature that astounds audiences, this trick is best performed with the volunteer actively participating, allowing them to control the lights and witness their own astonishment.

EFFECT: The magician presents a small electronic device featuring three colored lights (green, yellow, and red) along with corresponding switches. Each light illuminates when its matching switch is activated.

After demonstrating the lights, the magician turns off the switches and removes the colored covers. The spectator freely selects a switch to place the green cover on (no force), and when activated, the green light shines, regardless of the switch chosen. The spectator then selects a switch for the yellow cover, and upon activation, the yellow light illuminates. Finally, the red cover is placed on the last switch, lighting up the red light. Incredible!

With the switches off and the colored covers still in place, the magician reveals that all three lights are actually white, with only the lens covers being colored. The spectator chooses a color lens and covers a light with it, repeating this until all covers are in place. When the switches are turned on, each switch still activates the corresponding colored light, showcasing the magic of perception.

Finally, the device is turned face down, and the spectator is asked to think of a color lens (green, yellow, or red). When they reveal their choice, the device is flipped over to reveal that the chosen color light is now illuminated, despite no switches being activated. The device seemingly “knows” the spectator’s choice, creating a truly magical moment!
