Lebanon Circle – Compendium of Bizarre Magic
In recent years, I’ve dedicated countless nights to crafting unique magic effects. While some ideas never made it past the brainstorming stage, others were developed and marketed, and a few remain tucked away in my imagination, waiting for their moment to shine.
This compendium could easily be titled “Lebanon Circle – The Early Years.” It features a collection of my discontinued effects, ranging from the highly sought-after “Ghost in the Machine” to a brief guide on creating fake spirit photography. You’ll find detailed plans for constructing your own effects, along with information on where to source components and tips for saving money on magic items. Although I no longer custom build these effects, I believe it’s essential to share the theories, routines, and construction details with aspiring magicians willing to get hands-on.
This collection includes 17 effects, complete with step-by-step construction guides, routines, and bonus material, all spread across 100 enchanting pages in e-book format. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll discover:
Ghost in the Machine
The first custom-built Lebanon Circle effect, this piece is highly collectible. Original units have sold for up to £1000 on eBay. This compendium includes all original documentation and construction details needed to create your own version. The method is straightforward, making it an ideal project for beginners.
This creation holds sentimental value for me, as it marked the beginning of my journey. Often imitated and sold at high prices, I’ll show you how to craft one for under £10.
Pseudo Psycho
A collection of 12 PK routines that accompanied “Ghost in the Machine.” Whether you’re looking for inspiration or basic routines, there’s something here for every magnet owner!
Psychometry
Psychometry involves gaining insights from physical objects. Items like photographs, jewelry, and clothing can be “read” in this way. Here, I unveil the original and most effective method, favored by Victorian charlatans and utilized by mentalists for over a century.
A Guide to Fake Spirit Photography
The ultimate goal of a séance or ghost hunt is to capture an image of a spirit. However, many ghost hunters lack the skills of trained photographers, resulting in images that may misrepresent artifacts as spirits. Common misconceptions include orbs, vortices, and ectoplasm, but a little knowledge of digital photography can clarify these phenomena.
Fortunately, creating spirit photography hoaxes is surprisingly simple. Learn how to produce orbs, vortices, and ectoplasm using just a digital camera and a few household items—fooling ghost hunters every time!
The Spirit Cell
Engage in long-range ESP demonstrations and explore EVP. This project is perfect for any magician with a soldering iron and an old cell phone.
