Stairway to Heaven: Start with two rubber bands stretched between your hands, creating four visible strings. Ask the spectator to pinch the bottom string. Without releasing their grip, one by one, the bottom string travels to the top. Then, have the spectator rub the middle two strings together and take hold of both bands. After rubbing, they will release, and the bands will magically link in their hands.

Stairaway: In this variation, you again have two rubber bands creating four strings. After the bottom band moves to the top, the spectator can hold the top string. With a simple blow toward the bottom band, it will vanish into thin air.
