Experience the magic of Dark Angel, where each playing card is paired with its own guardian angel. You’ll present a 6″ x 4″ card, featuring a complete deck of 52 cards—black on one side and red on the other. These represent the guardians, with a random card placed beside each, known as THE CARD OF THE GUARDIANS, which can be thoroughly examined.

Next, you introduce a standard deck of cards, openly showing it to the audience. Here’s where the magic begins…

A spectator is invited to cut the deck as many times as they wish, then they deal the top card face up onto the table—no forces involved. This card is placed beneath the deck, and another spectator cuts a portion from anywhere they choose—again, absolutely no forces.

The first selected card is easily found on the CARD OF THE GUARDIANS, as the guardians are organized by suits. The spectator announces that, for example, 2♣ is the guardian of A♠. When the second spectator reveals their cut packet, they discover it contains the Ace of Clubs! Remember, there are no forces involved… but the surprises don’t end there!

Thanks to ROY WALTON, you can perform this effect again with even greater impact! This time, the original guardian card TRANSFORMS into the newly selected card, leaving you completely clean and reset for the next performance!

Dark Angel is innovative and can be performed with any regular deck. Templates are provided, allowing you to print the Card of the Guardians using any printer, including color and black & white options for laser printers.
