Who Are They?

Brian’s Bio: Brian’s magic journey began at age 10, studying sleight-of-hand with Canadian magician Alistair Younger. He has since performed in various settings, from corporate events to dinner theaters. A member of the prestigious Fechter’s Finger Flicking Frolic, Brian has lectured at The Japan Cup and received the Presidential Award from the Society of American Magicians. His original works have been featured in Genii magazine and his own notes, Coin Operated. In 2016, he collaborated with David Peck on a socially-driven magic lecture, releasing a joint booklet titled The Notes.

Brian’s current focus is on honoring classic tricks while innovating new concepts, all rooted in the rich history of magic. With a background in art, design, and marketing, he runs a successful communications agency in Toronto and speaks at various industry events.

David’s Bio: David is an award-winning magician and co-producer of the acclaimed children’s show Spellz. His engaging style has been praised by the dean of Atkinson University for its combination of sleight-of-hand, strong stage presence, humor, and charisma. With over thirty-five years of experience in the Greater Toronto Area, David has entertained diverse audiences.

As the founder of SoChange, he collaborates with corporate and NGO sectors on leadership and innovation projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and teaches at Humber College. David initiated the Mosquitoes Suck Tour, a global youth initiative, and founded the yChange social justice conference.

Named a Global Hero by Verge magazine in 2009, David authored Real Change is Incremental, which won a Word Guild Culture award. His podcast, Face2Face, features conversations with influential figures, and he has contributed to various media outlets while consulting on international projects.
