Double Scam by Michael Daniels

Double Scam is an innovative two-phase ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number) effect. In this performance, a spectator freely shuffles a full deck of cards. Both the spectator and the mentalist select a two-digit number and secretly choose a card to remember. After the cards are lost in the deck, which is then cut and shuffled, the performer reveals his selected card, and the spectator deals to their chosen number, uncovering the performer’s card at that position. Next, the spectator deals to the performer’s number, revealing their own card, which remains unnamed until this moment.

Double Scam is inspired by a principle found in Tommy’s (Tommaso Guglielmi) outstanding ebook Subtle Scam. The release of Double Scam comes with Tommy’s endorsement. While this effect shares similarities with Tommy’s Duplicity (found in Subtle Scam), the technique utilized in Double Scam is entirely distinct.
