Who Is He?
Doug Brewer is renowned for his exceptional coin magic, having developed an interest in stage magic from a young age. He performed his first paid gig at just 11 years old. After relocating to Los Angeles in his early twenties, he became a student of Johnny Ace Palmer. Doug’s accolades include winning the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians close-up contest in 1996 and first place at the Society of American Magicians convention in 1998. He has showcased his talents across various venues, including strolling, close-up, and stage performances as part of the comedy magic duo, The Magical Misfits. His first book was published by Chris Smith of Magic Smith fame after witnessing Doug’s performance at a local venue. Doug continues to create magic tailored for real-world applications.
