In this captivating performance, the magician invites a spectator to assist. He claims he will subliminally influence their choice of a specific card. The magician lays out 10 to 12 cards face up on the table, highlighting that many could be psychologically compelling options. For instance, one card might be the only club, another could be the sole odd value, and yet another may be the only red court card. The magician then steps back, turning away from the spectator, and instructs them to select one card freely from the spread.

With their back turned, the magician allows the spectator to choose any card they wish, covering the remaining cards to keep them hidden. The chosen card is then concealed by the spectator’s hand.

While still at a distance, the magician writes a prediction on a piece of cardboard and sets it aside. He then reveals the card he aimed to influence the spectator to select, explaining the reasoning behind their choice. When the spectator finally uncovers their card, it matches the magician’s prediction! As a stunning finale, the cardboard is flipped to reveal the chosen card written in bold letters.
