It seems unlikely—unless, of course, you are the participant in this intriguing effect. This performance utilizes a rarely seen principle that will lead a spectator to forget their own mother!

EFFECT: Through a hypnosis-based narrative, you guide the spectator through a simple story involving their mother. Despite your prompts to say the word “mom,” they will find themselves unable to utter it, as if they have completely erased the memory of the person who brought them into existence!
