Before diving into character readings, it’s important to note that I believe this method isn’t the most lucrative way to engage clients. Instead, cold reading serves as an entry point. It paves the way for more specialized readings where the real income potential lies.

In simple terms, a character reading prepares the client for what comes next. After delivering a brief cold reading, clients often ask, “Oh, are you psychic?” You can respond affirmatively, mentioning your expertise in tarot or another specialty.
