Who Is He?

Kevin Bethea is a full-time professional magician with over 30 years of experience. His passion for magic ignited at the age of seven after watching a film about his idol, Harry Houdini. This passion has blossomed into a successful career, making him a highly sought-after entertainer in the Philadelphia and Tri-State area. His award-winning sleight of hand has dazzled audiences at corporate events, cruise ships, trade shows, private parties, hospitality suites, and weddings nationwide.

Recently honored as Close-Up Magician of the Year by the International Association of Black Magical Artists, Kevin has showcased his talents at prestigious national magic conventions, including Abbotts, S.A.M. National Convention, and Tannen’s Jubilee in New York City. He has also performed at the Dickens Parlour Theater, Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater, and the renowned “Monday Night Magic,” New York’s longest-running off-Broadway magic show.

A published magician, Kevin’s work has been featured in a book distributed to school libraries across the country to inspire future magicians. His original effects are also included in Harry Lorayne’s “Apocalypse” and Stephen Hobbs’ “Labyrinth.” When not performing at private events, Kevin can be found showcasing his table-side magic at some of the finest restaurants in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area.
