Postcard: Three participants embark on a mental journey guided by the performer. This routine exemplifies how to reveal thoughts that participants are merely contemplating during a mind-reading demonstration.

Stegosaurus: The performer demonstrates mind reading with one participant, allowing the audience to witness the thought process behind the mind-reading. This routine features multiple revelations, convincing the audience that the performer can genuinely read thoughts, showcasing a highly believable mind-reading illusion.

ProMetheus: Inspired by Colin McLeod’s “Perfect Prediction,” this routine requires no gimmicks. It showcases mind reading and influence, allowing the performer to locate a hidden object, discern truthfulness, reveal thought-of words, and deliver a stunning prediction at the end (with Colin McLeod’s permission).

Unlock: The performer invites the audience to focus on their goals and desires, using a unique presentation of the magnetic fingers effect to empower them. An audience member is then put under a trance, allowing the performer to reveal their ambitions. The participant imagines unlocking an imaginary door to their desires and is given an ordinary house key, which they can bend at a 90-degree angle with their bare hands, symbolizing that this door will remain open.

Who Is He?

Unlike many magicians who begin their journey at a young age, I discovered magic as a teenager. Initially drawn to close-up magic, I practiced sleight of hand extensively.

At first, I wasn’t interested in mentalism, likely due to my skeptical nature. My perception changed when I witnessed Lee Earle’s performance, which had a psychological depth I hadn’t seen before. This sparked my interest in mentalism, leading me to study various sources (including Corinda, Bob Cassidy, Max Maven, and Richard Osterlind) while still focusing on close-up magic.

My perspective shifted dramatically when Derren Brown entered the scene. His unique presentation style captivated me, as he centered his performances around the mind-reading process rather than simply revealing thoughts. Derren remains my most significant influence in magic, as he allowed me to express myself more authentically in my presentations.

Fast forward 18 years, and I now exclusively perform mentalism. I’m excited to share my material with the community through my new book, UnVeil, my lecture at MINDS in Newcastle, and the Penguin Live Act.
