Who Is He?

Mark James is a comedy magician from the UK with over a decade of professional experience across 40 countries. He gained recognition in 2009 with his acclaimed DVD set, ‘Supercharged Classics’. Before this, he was a key member of the JB Magic team and held multiple restaurant residencies weekly.

His journey continued with an appearance alongside mentor Wayne Dobson in 2011 on ‘A Life In Magic’. Mark was honored to showcase his routines in a close-up environment alongside Matthew Dowden and Michael J. Fitch.

Since then, Mark has delivered over 80 lectures at magic societies and conventions, including notable events like the Cyprus Magic Society and the UK’s annual IBM convention.

Mark’s true passion lies in stage performance. After leaving JB Magic, he shifted focus from close-up magic to cabaret and stage shows worldwide, typically performing five nights a week for holiday companies and on cruise ships.

He has developed a cabaret show that combines comedy, magic, and juggling. His diverse experiences in various magic disciplines, including mentalism and kids’ magic, greatly influence his lecture content.
