THE EFFECT –

Imagine captivating your audience with the illusion of genuine supernatural abilities using just a deck of playing cards. Once you master this simple yet impressive routine, you’ll possess the powers of heightened hearing, enhanced touch, x-ray vision, and telepathy at any moment.

PHASE 1 –

A spectator shuffles and cuts a portion of the cards, then riffles them into Woody’s ear. With his extraordinary hearing, Woody accurately determines the number of cards cut and demonstrates this by cutting the same amount from the deck.

PHASE 2 –

Woody showcases his telepathic skills by inviting the spectator to think of a number. Before the spectator reveals their choice, Woody cuts the exact number of cards they were contemplating.

PHASE 3 –

A spectator picks a card, which is then lost and shuffled back into the deck. With his telepathy and x-ray vision, Woody identifies the chosen card and cheekily flicks to it with just one finger.
