Who Is He?
Michel Huot is Montreal’s most sought-after corporate magician, with over 20 years of experience in corporate magic. His journey began at age 23, inspired by a magician he saw at an event during a challenging time in his life. For those ten minutes, he found solace and joy, leading him to purchase Mark Wilson’s Magic course the very next day.
He created a Siamese twin act with a friend, winning the People’s Choice award at a Montreal magic contest in 1998. This act was showcased at FFFF in 1999, and he has been a regular performer ever since, presenting other crowd favorites like The Human Deck of Cards (with Yannick Lacroix) and UPSIDE/DOWN (with Patrice Meunier and Yannick Lacroix), both receiving standing ovations.
His work has been featured in renowned publications such as MAGIC, GENII, David Acer’s Natural Selections II, MONEY (John Lovick), and Mentalism for Kids (Paul Rohmany).
Michel has performed at over 20 shows at Montreal’s prestigious JUST FOR LAUGHS comedy festival and is a frequent guest at the COMEDY NEST, now owned by David Acer.
For the past five years, he has co-organized an international magic festival in Algeria, hosting notable guests like David Sousa, Soma Jordan Gomez, George Saterial, Leon Etienne, and Ouka.
Above all, Michel cherishes his corporate gigs, where he brings joy and wonder, allowing time to stand still for his audience.
In this lecture, Michel emphasizes practical magic. Everything he shares is applicable, accompanied by incredible stories and insights on performing in real-world scenarios!
