OUT OF THIS WORLD with a Twist by Jordan Victoria
Engage your audience with a captivating experiment that explores the connection between them and your deck of cards.
Begin by asking your spectator to choose whether to place “this card” to the left or right. Repeat this process with 10 to 12 cards.
Once the piles are created, turn them face up and reveal that if a genuine connection existed, there would be distinct red and black piles. Unfortunately, the first experiment appears to have failed.
However, you can conduct a second experiment that resembles the first but with a twist. This time, perform it face up and instruct your spectator to disregard the colors of the cards, using the entire deck for their choices.
After the two piles are set on the table, square them up and confidently state that despite their disregard for color, the test has succeeded.
As you spread the cards face down, reveal that the deck is perfectly divided, with one half featuring red backs and the other half showcasing blue backs.
