Begin with a standard deck of cards, showcasing its variety. Present the case on the table, confirming its ordinary nature.

Invite a spectator to select a card freely, with no forcing involved. They will sign their card, ensuring its uniqueness. After a few shuffles, the card is lost in the deck, which is then placed back in its case, leaving the spectator unaware of their chosen card’s identity.

Next, reveal a small plastic card for the spectator to examine. This ordinary white card features a red button labeled “PUSH.”

Ask the spectator to write their card’s name prominently on the plastic card—let’s say they choose the Five of Clubs.

Hold the open case in your left hand, displaying the cards inside. Gently shake the case to position the cards, or allow the spectator to do so. Slide the plastic card under the cellophane or hold it against the case.

State, “The Five of Clubs,” and confirm, “You wrote the Five of Clubs?”

Direct their attention to the red PUSH button.

Press the button.

Instantly, a card shoots from the deck, astonishing your audience!

Reveal the card that has emerged—it is indeed the Five of Clubs, the very card freely chosen and signed by the spectator.

Allow the deck to be examined; everything is ORDINARY!
