SEANCE debuted in 1988, and with each issue, I was amazed by the wealth of quality content contributed. From individual effects and complete routines to innovative plot ideas and revisited techniques (the piece on Nelson Enterprises’ “Ghost Gun” was particularly noteworthy), the magazine is a treasure trove of insightful concepts for anyone captivated by the magical interaction with ghosts and spirits.

Since 1991, I have frequently been asked by magicians about SEANCE magazine and its availability. These issues are quite rare, with complete collections now fetching $200 or more! Therefore, I was thrilled to learn that Richard Kaufman has secured the rights for its republication. This remarkable journal is filled with magical gems, and I am delighted it will once again be accessible.
