Introducing SECRETS, my inaugural magic notes journal.

Over 20 years ago, when magic first captivated me, I began documenting my creative ideas for close-up magic and card tricks. Instead of writing extensively, I filled over 50 pages with detailed sketches that captured my magical journey.

In 2021, while relocating from my home studio to the Mad House, I unearthed an old black book hidden beneath a drawer in a filing cabinet. Although it showed signs of wear and had suffered water damage, the pages remained intact and well-preserved.

As I flipped through the pages, nostalgia washed over me, transporting me back to the moment magic entered my life. Each page evoked a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, humility, laughter, inspiration, and motivation.

As a teacher of Magic and the Deceptive Arts, I realized that this rediscovered book held countless hidden gems, life lessons, and forgotten tricks, safeguarded for over two decades. Now, I am thrilled to share these insights with you.

Over the past year, I have revisited my original work, providing explanations for each drawing. This journey has rekindled many performance anecdotes and memories, allowing me to invite you into my past and share my personal exploration of magic.

What began as a 50-page journal has transformed into a nearly 300-page book, featuring over 280 close-up deceptions, magic and card tricks, sleight-of-hand techniques, gimmicks, gaffs, and insights into street and stage performances. Filled with creative ideas and stories from my experiences, I am excited to take you back in time to witness my magical discovery.
