Self-Guided Tour can be performed with various items like postcards, tarot cards, photographs, or standard playing cards, allowing you to tailor it to your unique style. For instance, I utilize postcards from the Louvre and present it like this: “Imagine wandering through a museum, room by room, and arriving at the artwork you were destined to see. I’m going to demonstrate that right now.” I reveal eight paintings sequentially, mix them up, and hand the stack to the spectator, asking, “Did any of these paintings resonate with you?” The spectator selects one and removes seven postcards using the down/under shuffle technique introduced earlier. Ultimately, she reveals the chosen postcard, which is the painting she connected with—almost as if by destiny.
