This new method requires only a standard paper bag, a real padlock, and seven keys—one of which opens the lock, while the other six do not. That’s all you need! Experience the same properties as if you truly possessed ESP and could perform the effect authentically.

Here’s how the classic effect unfolds: You present a padlock and seven matching keys to your audience, offering a reward to anyone who can prove that the lock has been tampered with. You can confidently make this challenge, as the lock is entirely genuine. A spectator demonstrates that while all seven keys fit the lock, only one will actually open it. The keys are placed in a bag and mixed. Seven different spectators are invited to each select a key and hold it tightly, ensuring no one can see their choice. As you pass your hands over each spectator’s closed fist, you accurately reveal whether they hold the key that opens the lock. Each spectator then tries their key in the lock, confirming your predictions. Importantly, you never touch the spectators’ keys or the lock during this process. All seven keys are tested in this manner.
