The effect is simple yet powerful when executed correctly. Your spectator names a king (spades, hearts, clubs, or diamonds), and you reveal that you predicted their choice by showing it as the only face-up card in the packet. For a dramatic finish, you flip the card to reveal it has a different back than the other three.
